This was my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it! The story begins with tragedy, Kenna inheriting her childhood vacation home and starting college. But, as the story unfolds Kenna uncovers her hidden magic, a few of her chosen, and a doozy of a secret that will change her life forever. This ended on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to discover more about Kenna’s chosen, what happens to her, and where this story will go! Definitely recommend!
This was a captivating, well written and fun read! While romance is not my usual go to, this was fun and held my attention. The characters were well developed. I can't wait for the next one!
A must read for those intrigued by mystery and romance. Character McKenna has real world challenges with heroine undertones. The trio of gentlemen introduced are astonishing and from the supernatural world. You finish wishing you had the next book in hand.
The sizzling Awaken delivers both heart and heat. The compelling story, filled with supernatural happenings, had me invested to the end!
I’m ready for book two. Loved it!
